The Property Council of Australia’s Future Directions Young Achiever Awards 2010 was held this year for young professionals in the property industry in WA, where the awards aimed to recognise the contribution and achievements of young individuals in the industry. The awards focused on the role, level and quality of involvement that these young professionals had on a variety of project types, rather than the size or importance of the projects themselves.
CCN encouraged its younger staff to enter into both categories of the awards: The Young Achiever of the Year Award for professionals aged between 26 to 32, and the Lighthouse Award for professionals 25 years and under.
Three staff entered and all were shortlisted as finalists, one in the Lighthouse Award and two for the Young Achiever of the Year Award. After submissions and several interviews we are proud to announce and both awards were won by members of Cameron Chisholm Nicol.
At a function on Friday 3rd September, Jonathan Davies was announced as the recipient of the Young Achiever of the Year Award, and Sharmila Kanagalingam the recipient of the Lighthouse Award.
Jon and Sharmila are typical of the young professionals CCN encourages to join the practice. We congratulate them on their achievement in receiving these prestigious awards judged from all submissions from all sectors of the property industry.
